Dear friends,

I hope 2023 has been treating you all well.

I'm so grateful for several collaborations that have made my creative life so fulfilling these last few months!

In Los Angeles, just last week, I sang a recital presented by Loyola Marymount University and the Paderewski Music Society of Los Angeles with the amazing pianist Dr. Wojciech Kocyan.

I also was an invited guest speaker for the University of Southern California Levan Institute for the Humanities "Sound in Sacred Spaces" series. Both appearances in LA were a huge joy and honor for me to participate in!

This past fall and winter were filled with wonderful performances as well! My ongoing collaboration with pianist Nadia Boucher in Ottawa led us to partner with two beautiful churches - Navan-Vars United Church and Trinity United Church, for which we did three full recitals, and where we will continue to do regular concert presentations for the Ottawa public!  I also recently debuted with Jacaranda Music in LA, and will be a featured artist again next season, singing the very demanding “Book of the Hanging Gardens” by Arnold Schoenberg alongside pianist Steven Vanhauwaert

I have also been composing my own experimental, vocals-only music, which will be officially released soon. My collaborations with my mother, visual artist Krystyna Sadej, have culminated in some music videos featuring her works and my music, which I'm very excited about...

Please scroll down for photos and video links and stay tuned for more news about upcoming concerts, the release of my vocals-only original music on streaming platforms, a vocal and public speaking class I will be leading in the community of Nakusp, British Colombia, and my visual art activities (Hint: glass art, here I come!)!

Wishing you all a fantastic start to springtime!

KATSAD VISUAL ART

Come check out my other passion - visual art! I create acrylic paintings, oil pastel paintings, design sketches, and glass art (including stained glass)!

Much of my visual art is inspired by wildlife and nature (many of you have seen my animal oil pastel collection), and my acrylic paintings are inspired by psychology and the subconscious mind. I invite you to follow my separate visual art accounts on Facebook Instagram, and YouTube

I am also doing commissions, so please feel free to email me or message me on those social platforms for more information about that.

For merchandise with my art on it check out my Redbubble shop. If you would like a duvet cover, shower curtain, mouse pad, phone case, pillow or other merchandise with a little piece of me on it, look no further than here!
